 This Privacy Policy applies to the personal information that you provide to The Water Street Collective Limited (“we”, “our” or “us”) in connection with your interactions with us online on the websites that link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Site”). By interacting with us and sharing information about yourself or others, you agree that the personal information you share will be handled in accordance with this Privacy Policy, as amended.

RESTRICTIONS ON ACCESS AND USE

Geographic Restrictions. The Site operated, in whole or in part, from Canada. Personal information may be accessed by us or transferred to us in Canada or to our affiliates, business partners, or service providers elsewhere in the world.  WHY WE COLLECT AND HANDLE PERSONAL INFORMATION

The Water Street Collective generally collects, holds, uses and discloses personal information to provide our products and services, manage our business and relationships and better understand the individuals we engage with. For example, we may collect and handle personal information:

  • to provide you with information about our products, services and offerings, including as to quality of our products and stocklists;
  • to respond to, and deal with, any requests, queries, claims, investigations and complaints;
  • to verify, maintain and update our records;
  • to protect the safety and security of our customers, staff, sites and assets;
  • to comply with our legal obligations;
  • to protect and defend our legal rights;
  • to co-operate with regulatory investigations and activities;
  • to facilitate any business acquisitions we or our related companies are involved in, including any related transitional and business integration activities; and
  • for other purposes in accordance with all applicable laws.

We may not be able to do these things, or at least, do them as effectively, if we are unable to collect the personal information we seek. For example, we may not be able to respond to your requests and queries.

WHAT WE COLLECT AND HOW

  • Subscribing to Our News and Alerts. When you subscribe to our email list, we collect, and associate with your account, personal information like your name and email address.

  • Completing a “Contact” Form. If you complete a “contact” request, then you may provide certain personal information about your request and contact information for us to respond to your request.
  • Initiating a “Chat with Us” Request. If we offer a chat feature, then any personal information you provide by interacting with this feature may be processed by us or our service providers to answer your questions and provide you with personal information you are requesting.
  • Enquiry and complaint details (which may in some cases include health information);
  • Submitting Content to Us. When you use the Site we may process content you share or review (including things like your comments on message boards and photos you upload) and personal information related to them (for example, location tags in photos). This will make it easy for you to do things like share items/materials, post messages, and respond to offers and other personal information from us.

Examples of Personal Information That May Be Collected Automatically:

  • Location Information. Your devices may transmit to us information, such as your IP address, which allows us to infer your general location (e.g., region, city and state). This allows us to provide you with content and offers that may be relevant to you based on your location, such as helping you find a retailer of one of our products near you, offers, coupons, and promotions that are available in your area.
  • Traffic Data. Whenever you visit or interact with the Site, we (as well as our service providers) may use assorted technologies that automatically or passively collect information about how it is accessed and used by you. We refer to this information as traffic data. WHOM WE MAY SHARE PERSONAL INFORMATION WITH

We do not sell, rent or share your personal information except as described in this Privacy Policy.

  • Our Service Providers and Affiliates. We may share your personal information with our affiliates or with non- affiliated third parties that perform services for us and to help us provide the Site and its offerings to you. We may also share your personal information with non- affiliated third parties, including, for example: (1) if we believe that there has been a violation of our policies regarding the Site; (2) if we believe that someone may be causing injury to our rights or property, or those of anyone else; (3) to respond to judicial process or to provide personal information to law enforcement or other governmental agencies; (4) otherwise as required or permitted by law; or (5) in the event of a liquidation, reorganization, merger, consolidation, change of control, asset or stock acquisition/disposition or other corporate combination.

HOW WE PROTECT YOUR PRIVACY; USE AT YOUR RISK

Your option not to receive promotional and marketing material will not preclude us from corresponding with you, by email or otherwise, regarding service related messages (e.g., responses to requests for personal information you pose to us either through use of the Site or by other means, recall information, etc.), and, unless you request deletion of your personal information, will not preclude us from accessing and viewing your personal information in the course of maintaining and improving the Site and our services, and may nonetheless be subject to dissemination to the entities identified above in the section of this policy entitled “Whom We May Share Personal Information With.”

Do Not Track Requests & Third-Party Tracking. Unless your browser settings are configured to make your online activities and publicly available information about your online activities (such as traffic data described above) invisible to usage analytics tools, your online activities within a brand website are not omitted from usage analytics to the extent your browser only sends us a “do not track” message and does not otherwise screen you from tracking without any action on our part. Third-parties, other than our service providers (such as the Site website analytics provider), do not have authorization from us to track which websites you visited prior to and after visiting the Site. That said, we cannot control all tracking by third parties not affiliated or under contract with us, and there may be some third- party tracking over time and across third-party websites that occurs without our knowledge or consent.
